Former MDC Joy Kishore Jamatia Found Guilty in Community TrialAccused of Spreading False Allegations Against Hoda Authorities

Former MDC Joy Kishore Jamatia stands accused and is found guilty in a traditional community trial held by Jamatia Hoda authorities at Killa Bazaar for spreading false allegations and defaming local leaders.

Independent Patrika Reporter | 26 July 2025:-

On 26th July 2025, at around 11 AM, a community trial was held at the Jamatia Hoda Pitra Mayal Office in Killa Bazaar. The trial, conducted under the orders of the Jamatia Hoda Okra, summoned former MDC of Killa Block, Joy Kishore Jamatia, to face allegations of defamation and false propaganda against Hoda leaders.
During the trial, Joy Kishore stood with folded hands and responded to questions posed by the Pitra Mayal Pachays. He was found guilty of making defamatory statements through an audio message on 8th July 2025, during heavy rainfall, where he falsely accused the Hoda’s Chokhodiri and Pachays in connection with paddy field damage in the Jaying Bari BC area.
In his message, Joy Kishore allegedly said that “only if the Chokhodiri and Pachays give approval, work will be done in the society, otherwise nothing happens.” However, it was proven in the trial that no such remarks were made by the Hoda authorities, and his statements were fabricated with the intention of tarnishing their reputation.
Sources suggest that Joy Kishore’s motivation may stem from his strained ties with the BJP. Some believe that his recent behavior is a result of his political isolation, as he can no longer benefit from the party’s influence. As one local put it, “Amit’s ghost still haunts him.”
It is also worth noting that Joy Kishore was previously expelled from the party during the former government due to a high-profile scandal involving women. Now, despite rejoining BJP, he has reportedly begun a campaign of misinformation against the very party he represents. Credible sources hint that the “snake is about to return to its hole.”
