Farhad Hossain, a 3-year-Child and the only son of Jalal Uddin, a resident of Ward No. 4 of Ashabari village, tragically lost his life this morning around 9:30 AM after accidentally falling into a pond near his house.

When his parents couldn’t find him inside the house, they began searching the area. His father suspected that the child might have fallen into the nearby pond and immediately went in to search. To his horror, he found his son’s lifeless body submerged under the water.

Farhad was rushed to the Boxanagar Community Health Centre, where the attending doctor declared him dead on arrival. The untimely and tragic death of their only son has left the parents devastated, and the entire area is engulfed in mourning.

Later, the police from Kalamchoura Police Station visited the scene and initiated an investigation into the incident.
