Tension gripped the Tatuatila area under the Matarbari Assembly Constituency following an incident of statue vandalism. In connection with the case, the RK Pur Police have detained a youth named Krishan Shil.

According to police sources, Krishan was arrested promptly after local residents reported the incident. Additional police forces have been deployed at the scene to maintain law and order.

Police have launched an investigation to determine the motive behind the vandalism and whether others were involved. The situation in the area remains tense but under control.
