Pratima Bhowmik Escapes Unhurt in Road Accident

A serious road accident took place near Sonamura Police Station on Wednesday, involving former Union Minister of State, Pratima Bhowmik. The front part of the vehicle she was traveling in was severely damaged.

Fortunately, Pratima Bhowmik remained unharmed in the incident. However, three of her personal security officers sustained injuries. One of them, who is said to be in a critical condition, was immediately referred to GB Hospital in Agartala for further medical attention.

Police officials have begun an investigation to determine the cause of the crash. Initial reports suggest that high speed or a possible mechanical failure could be behind the mishap, though no official statement has been released yet.

The incident has sparked concern among local residents and political circles alike, given the high-profile nature of the individual involved.
